CPI inflation in USA for Dec-2023 increased by 0.3% when compared with Nov-2023 and increased by 3.4 when compared with Dec-2022 and not a happy news for US stock markets

CPI inflation in USA for Dec-2023 increased by 0.3% when compared with Nov-2023 and increased by 3.4 when compared with Dec-2022 and not a happy news for US stock markets.

In Nov-2023 the inflation increase was 3.1% and for Dec-2023 the inflation increase was 3.4%. So this is not a happy news for US stock markets.

The all items less food and energy index rose 3.9 percent over the last 12 months.

Mainly the numbers are slightly higher than street expected numbers.
