Nasdaq 100 fallen by 1.06% on Jan 3rd trade and Asian markets trading mixed on Jan 4th

On Jan 3rd, Nasdaq 100 had fallen by 1.06%.

On Jan 4th, as of now Japan related Nikkei 225 index lost 225 points (-0.65%).

Hang Seng index lost 0.69% i.e 115 points.

Nifty 50 was up by 0.5% in morning trade.

China related Shanghai index lost 0.8% on Jan 4th trade so far.

There is not major bad or good news globally for today.

Just giving up partial gains that gained in the month of December.

Getting to Japan, couple of times earthquake occurred in the past 2 days and more than 60 people died due to the earthquake occurred in Japan.
