Total nonfarm payroll jobs increased by 216,000 in December-2023 and it is a good news for USA stock markets.

Market expected it to be between 175,000 and 200,000.

The unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.7 percent for December-2023 month.

Increased Jobs segments in Dec-2023:

Government employment increased by 52,000 in December.

Health care added 38,000 jobs.

Social assistance rose by 21,000 in December.

Construction employment added 17,000 jobs.

Leisure and hospitality added 40,000 jobs.

Retail trade jobs added 17,000 jobs.

Professional and business services added 13,000 jobs.

Transportation and warehousing declined by 23,000
